im a sophomore in highschool and i am just learning what proofs are
o joy
they confuse me to no damn end
help would be appreciated
heres the problem:
USING ALGEBRA. Solve for the variable using the given information. Explain your steps.
GIVEN->line segment AB is congruent to line segment BC, line segment CD is congruent to line segment BC
(this is the picture, diagram, or w/e it is that came with the problem. the “O” is the point on the line segment)

and i have to explain the steps, like the given is already there. then telling what each step is like distributive property of addition, and so on
